Where we are

The landscape of Abruzzo and Piceno is characterized by the proximity of the sea to the mountains, interspersed with gently slope hills. While strolling along the promenade it is possible to see the unique shape of the Gran Sasso and Majella.

The medieval villages: the Bourbon fortress of Civitella del Tronto; the scenic old village in Colonnella, Tortoreto Alto and Grottammare; the fortifications of the Rock in Acquaviva; Renaissance palaces in Offida.

The Cities of Art: the fountain with 99 spouts and the Basilica of Collemaggio that houses the relics of Celestine V in L’Aquila, Piazza del Popolo, the Cathedral and many other churches in Ascoli Piceno, the ruins of the Roman Theatre and the Cathedral in Teramo.

Places of Religious Worship: the Manoppello Image; the Eucharistic Miracle in Lanciano; the Miracle Source of Madonna dello Splendore in Giulianova; the Shrine of San Gabriele, the patron saint of Abruzzo at the foot of the Gran Sasso; the Monastery of San Giacomo della Marca in Monteprandone and the venerated Madonna Loreto in the nearby Marche Region.
